This is an American cruise line with just 49 British [passengers (out of 600 ). The welcome and help of your staff made me proud to be British. Such enthusiastic and helpful group of volunteers made our first visit to Falmouth a delight.
Thank you, a brilliant idea very well executed.

I was on the Fred Olsen Mystery Cruise which docked in Falmouth on Friday 13th Sept. I was very impressed by the warm welcome to Falmouth.
I live in Cornwall and I was amused to find the final mystery port was Falmouth. You helped to make it a unique and pleasurable experience.
I’m not sure I’m sending this to the correct contact but please say “Well done and thankyou “ to all the participating volunteers.

Many thanks to the ambassadors for their warm welcome and superb service, particularly Sandra and Phil. They had organised a taxi for the four of us right on the wharf. Kieran, our taxi driver, took us on the King Harry ferry to St Just in Roseland, St Mawes, Truro, and back to Falmouth. He was very informative and we had plenty of time to enjoy each stop, and all for a fraction of the cost of a ship excursion. Very much appreciated and highly recommended.

Yesterday I visited Falmouth during a one day stop by my cruise ship, Seabourn Ovation
I want to compliment the town on the services provided by the Cruise Ship Ambassadors that greeted us as we got off the ship
They gave us maps and useful information, this is the best that I have ever experienced in any port. They are a credit to your town.
Best regards

A belated but heart-felt big Thank You for greeting us so warmly off the Saga Pearl NTS cruise ship, which called into Falmouth on Friday, 7 September. We very much wanted to visit Pendennis Castle, but as we were short of time and feeling rather decrepit anyway, you very kindly arranged a taxi up there and back, which made all the difference.

We were also delighted with the little dish made by Sarah Hunkin, which was waiting for us in our cabin - please pass on our thanks to her. We think the concept of Cruise Ambassadors as greeters is splendid and our very best wishes for the future.

my friends arrived on the Silver Spirit, and they raved about the welcome from the cruise ambassadors as well as their farewell wishes. They loved having people there as they disembarked and returned to their ship. They said it was in stark contrast to Cobh their next stop, were there was absolutely no one to help them. Well done team! I know my friends will be back, they loved it here.

Thank you for making arrangements for our visit to Cornwall. While our friends did not make the cruise because of cancelled flights and cost to reach Bermuda, we still had a great time and we made new friends who joined us on the drive through your most lovely part of the world.

I hope the upcoming cruise season is an exciting one for the Falmouth area. We certainly plan to make a longer "ground" visit to Cornwall in the next few years.

Good morning,

I was one of the passengers on board Saga Pearl 2 when she visited Falmouth recently. I just wanted to highlight my appreciation - and that of many other passengers - at the hard work put in by all the volunteers who came out to be by the pier and on the shuttle buses to ensure everybody had good and easy access to information about your lovely town. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and hope to visit there again one day. All those people portrayed your town in a positive way. Well done!
